COLUMBUS, Ohio — Could Ohio State defensive coordinator Greg Schiano possibly be right that the Buckeyes defensive line is better than the defensive lines he coached in the NFL as the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 1999 and 2000?

That’s what Schiano said recently. To recap, here was the exact exchange on the Big Ten Network.

Dave Revsine: “Is this the most talented D line you’ve ever been around? And you can include the NFL.”

Greg Schiano: “It is, you know. And that’s not a joke. It is. We had a great player in Tampa by the name of Gerald McCoy, tremendous player, but that was one guy.”

Schiano also said this line is better than what he coached with the Miami Hurricanes in college in 1999 and 2000.

Tyquan Lewis, Sam Hubbard, Jalyn Holmes, Nick Bosa, Dre’Mont Jones — all potentially high NFL picks. So … Bill Landis, Tim Bielik and I talked this out.

Watch the video and then vote on whether you believe Schiano could be right.
