The OSU Music Department in partnership with Stillwater Arts and Humanities Council and Stillwater Honor Choir are hosting a week-long Summer Music Camp for students in Grades 4 through 7 from June 19-23. The theme for the experience will be “Tapestry of Nations” in the sixteenth annual workshop, according to Dr. Julia Haley, program coordinator.

Each afternoon in the Seretean Center for the Performing Arts from 1 – 3:30 pm, children will explore the rich musical tapestry of many cultures through singing, moving, and playing instruments.  The week will end with a free demonstration concert for the public on Friday, June 23, at 3 pm.

The choir camp faculty includes public school music specialists Trish Ranson, Diana Austin, and Amy Thomas along with OSU music education intern Sydney Anderson.

For information about the summer music camp or participating in Stillwater Honor Choir this fall, please email the choir secretary at [email protected], or visit our website:
