Ball also is expected to meet with the Lakers’ coaching staff and front-office personnel.
No other players are expected to be involved in Ball’s workout, the source said.
The Lakers own the second overall pick in the June 22 NBA draft.
Ball also is considering working out for the , league sources previously told ESPN.
Boston general manager Danny Ainge recently said that Ball had declined to work out for the , despite a chance to be selected No. 1 overall.
According to sources, the Lakers had originally scheduled the workout for June 9, but they had to change the date due to a conflict.
