Police issued an Amber Alert on Wednesday morning for a 13-year-old girl from Salem, Mo. Police believe she was abducted by two men.

Trinity Lewis was last seen in a truck on County Road 6090 in Salem at about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, authorities say. The suspects’ vehicle is a maroon two-tone, extended cab pickup truck with dark rear-side windows. One man is white, in his 50s, with an average to heavy build and a black, neat beard with short hair. The second man is in his 30s, is short and clean-shaven and has a thin build.

The truck was last seen driving on County Road 6090, toward Highway 32 in West Salem.

Trinity told her guardian that she was going to a friend’s home, but she never made it to that home, police say.

Trinity is a white 13-year-old girl with blonde hair and blue eyes. She is 5-foot-3 and weighs 130 pounds. She was wearing shorts and a shirt and carried a yellow-and-white drawstring bag.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Dent County Sheriff’s Office at 573-729-3241.

An Amber Alert is a way law enforcement alerts the public when police believe a child has been abducted and faces grave danger. Criteria for the alert is a reasonable belief by law enforcement that an abduction has occurred; the abduction is of a child age 17 years or younger; police believe the child is in imminent danger of serious bodily injury or death; and there is enough of a description about the victim and abduction for police to seek the public’s help to recover the child.
