Klaussner’s new Complete Comfort Control motion offerings include the company’s first app-powered control sync-able with any mobile device.
The Complete Comfort Control app debuts at this market with a new line of Complete Comfort Control products that include 10 groups, five sectionals, 10 recliners and five high-leg recliners. The app connects to the furniture via Bluetooth and allows the user to sync with individual seats, identify or name the seat, and save it to any mobile device. It is available free in the app store as “Complete Comfort Control” for both IOS and Android devices.
The Complete Comfort Control seating line offers power recline, power headrest, power lumbar, memory setting, a home (reset) button, and USB charging ports plus the new free app-powered capability. As the third technology-based launch in as a many High Point markets, it represents Klaussner’s continuously evolving innovation in its motion upholstery.
“With the new free app capability, traditional furniture is instantly upgraded to ‘smart’ furniture,” said Bobby Jones, director of motion and import upholstery at Klaussner. “We believe in enhancing the consumer experience in every way possible. The Complete Comfort Control app is the next step along our journey of syncing the everyday lifestyles of our consumers to their favorite recliner, sofa or sectional.”
Complete Comfort Control products will have a comprehensive point-of-purchase package including hang tags, banners and seat back labels to indicate that they are app-ready and how to access it. Jones said the set-up is simple, requiring just a couple of minutes to pair the device with the powered seat, give it a name such as “Dad’s recliner” or “Sofa left or right.”
“This product is for all generations. Millennials may be the ones who quickly gravitate to app-powered features, but the generation gaps have closed rapidly in the tech field. At one time, Baby Boomers were actually outspending their younger counterparts in the technology sector. Every generation has the desire to not just be current but be on the cutting edge,” Jones said.
Leading innovation is a company-wide goal, and at this market Klaussner is also introducing an eight-group assortment of stationary sofas and sectionals with USB charging ports, providing consumers the convenient function for the connected lifestyle.
